Eggs are one source of food with protein and essential nutrients that humans need. However, behind the appearance of skin that looks smooth, the eggs turned out to be damaged by bacteria, among others, by the bacteria salmonella.
Recently, thousands of people in the United States reported outbreaks of illnesses caused by salmonella after eating eggs. Own salmonella can cause diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever within 8-72 hours post-eating bacteria-contaminated eggs.
Salmonella contamination in eggs could occur through a variety of ways. One is contamination of feces containing the bacteria on egg shells. Salmonella bacteria found in the digestive tract and feces of infected animals and human bacteria. These bacteria can be transferred when the chicken faeces are occupied.

The largest producer of eggs in the United States several days ago has been recall of approximately 380 million products because of suspected contamination of Salmonella enteritidis.
Eggs produced by the Wright County Egg in Galt, Iowa, and sold to all over the U.S. territory in different brands and packaging. Earlier, some residents in California and Minnesota who had allegedly been poisoned salmomella from the center of the egg studied by the Agency for Food and Drug Administration.
The salmonella poisoning can harm health, especially for those who have low immune systems, such as the elderly and infants. Because, they have a weak immune system in fighting infection. Thus, when exposed to salmonella, the bacteria can quickly enter the bloodstream and then spread to other parts.

Salmonella is a genus of gram-negative bacteria enterobakteria shaped rod that causes typhoid, paratifus, and foodborne illness. The species of Salmonella can move freely and produce hydrogen sulfide. Salmonella is named after Daniel Edward Salmon, American pathologist,although in fact, his colleague Theobald Smith (famous for the outcome of anaphylaxis) who first found the bacterium in 1885 on the pig's body.
Salmonella is a major cause of diseases that are transmitted through food (foodborne diseases). [5] In general, the serotypes of Salmonella causing illness in the digestive organs.  Diseases caused by Salmonella called salmonellosis.  The characteristics of people suffering from salmonellosis are diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever within 8-72 hours after eating food contaminated by salmonella.  Other symptoms are fever, headache, ausea and vomiting.Three main serotypes of the species S. S. enterica is typhi, S. typhimurium, and S. enteritidis. S. typhi causes typhoid fever (typhoid fever), because the invasion of bacteria into the blood vessels and gastroenteritis, caused by food poisoning / intoxication.
