Eggs in USA Contaminated With Salmonella Enteritidis

The largest producer of eggs in the United States several days ago has been recall of approximately 380 million products because of suspected contamination of Salmonella enteritidis.
Eggs produced by the Wright County Egg in Galt, Iowa, and sold to all over the U.S. territory in different brands and packaging. Earlier, some residents in California and Minnesota who had allegedly been poisoned salmomella from the center of the egg studied by the Agency for Food and Drug Administration.
The salmonella poisoning can harm health, especially for those who have low immune systems, such as the elderly and infants. Because, they have a weak immune system in fighting infection. Thus, when exposed to salmonella, the bacteria can quickly enter the bloodstream and then spread to other parts.



Salmonella poison is very serious and dangerous, unless the person is treated promptly with antibiotics. Thus, it is important to know the symptoms of esophageal bacteria. People infected with salmonella which typically show symptoms like fever, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea.These symptoms lasted for 12-72 hours after salmonella from contaminated food or beverages.

The pain will last between four and seven days. Most people do recover without antibiotic treatment. However, if the diarrhea gets worse, to prevent dehydration, the patient will usually be referred immediately hospitalized.
Eggs are foods that are difficult to avoid in our daily menu, especially nutrient-rich eggs and can be processed quickly. To that end, here are a few ways you can do to avoid salmonella contamination.

1. Keep eggs in the refrigerator 
2. Discard eggs that are cracked and dirty looks 
3. Wash hands, cooking utensils, and counter surfaces regularly with soap after contact with raw eggs 
4. Eggs should be cooked until both halves, white and yellow, really ripe. Then eat immediately after cooking 
5. Do not store eggs in a warm room with temperatures of more than 2 hours 
6. Immediately save the dough that contains eggs into the refrigerator 
7. Do not eat raw eggs 
8. Avoid eating in a restaurant menu using raw or undercooked eggs.
